An oasis of serenity steps from the sea. Friendly & attentive staff. Beautiful and clean villas.

I loved my stay at Anavana. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and felt like family. The villas surrounded by the lush vegetation and orchids were stylish, clean and well appointed with authentic teak furniture and lovely details. Very quiet and serene atmosphere. Comfortable beds and day beds. The place had a restaurant/bar with delicious food, a massage spa, a pool and more. Just steps from the ocean. Had I known how great this place is, I would have booked a longer stay. Would definitely come back.

Great accommodation in a green oasis on a great beach

The accommodation is fully recommended. The individual small houses are located in a green oasis with a watercourse, which is great laid out and elaborately maintained. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and the room service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the fact that beach chairs are only occupied when they are needed. The beach itself is very well maintained. For breakfast you can choose from a great selection of what you want. You sit in the area that is right on the beach. We also had dinner in the restaurant on several nights. This is also highly recommended. Great choice, high quality food and good value for money. Compared to the other hotels on this stretch of beach, the hotel stands out absolutely.

It was a wonderful holiday especially thanks to the beautiful setting of the Anavana Beach Resort. The team is adorable and very responsive, always smiling. The setting is idyllic, I wanted to spend more time there than outside. The shows offered in the evening are really great. Thanks to the kindness of the whole team.

I am very excited about this family hotel. I had a great and wonderful stay. All staff at the hotel are exceptionally lovable and attentive. I will come back anytime and can only highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for the great time❣️Food in the restaurant very delicious and always good drinks at the bar. A real pampering holiday.

Beautiful discovery

Resort with a soul, directly on Chaweng beach. Warm welcome, customer service always listening and very responsive. The bungalows are relatively spacious, well appointed, air-conditioned and ventilated. The vegetation de facto privatises each bungalow. Good food, especially Thai dishes.

Perfect Koh Samui Oasis

My Mum and I stayed at Anavana for four nights and cannot recommend it enough! It was actually my Mum’s second time staying there. She came during the late 90s when it was known as Poppies.

Anavana is its own little oasis, with beautiful gardens, great old trees and water features all throughout. The cottages are rustic in style, and ours was fitted out with everything we needed. And there was so much attention to detail, like a traditional foot-washing jar out the front of our cottage which was great coming in from the beach, and a house-made body lotion that smelt absolutely amazing! I ended up buying some from reception on our way out. We also really appreciated that our cottage was set-back from the main path and sheltered by some bushes, meaning we could sit out on the front verandah while still having some privacy.

Nattaya, the in-house massage therapist, was absolutely amazing. So amazing that even after moving to a different hotel, I came back on our second-last day in Koh Samui just to get another massage from her! And most of all, every single staff member at Anavana was so warm, welcoming and accomodating. A special shout out to Ame, who I think is the resort manager, who went above and beyond by helping me retrieve my phone that I’d lost in a taxi, as well as Joy and Jimmy. The whole team truely made our time at Anavana, and Koh Samui in general, so memorable. Thank you so much!
